Finished the second round of GM diet couple of days back. Managed to hold back the temptation on food pretty easily this time. Of course, it also helped that Rima decided to do the drill with me this time (God knows, why she feels the need to trim down further, though!)
Swapped rice with pulses during the sixth day and made sure that I had lots of water. The weight was swinging at least 2 -3 pounds every day. The best was when I logged 169 pounds on the sixth day.
On reflection, I might not go through the whole routine again. Probably once a month with the first three days of fruits and vegetables should do the trick as I lost 90% of the weight in this period. But the whole exercise is very good from disciplining your food habits, though. I feel very light and invigorated now. The halo should remain at least for another week :)
My weight has now stabilized at 172 pounds. Losing 5 pounds in 8 days...not bad at all, eh?
Another 29 pounds to go by year end. Good thing is I have shaved off 20 pounds in the last three months.
Let us see how long I travel in this road.
